FatKat Animation

Until Mr. Carter mentioned to the class about FatKat, I had no idea that they existed, and that it was located in the Miramichi.
In 2000, Gene Fowler submitted his design portfolio, and was offered to make a flash animated interactive training film for a new e-learning company in San Diego, California. He then named his company after one of his friends who had a fat cat.
In 2002 it was taken over by Trainingscape Inc. and was renamed Trainingscape Studios Canada.
Gene's team produced over 40 films for 500 companies such as, Nike, Hasbro, and Boeing, but in February of 2003, Trainingscape shut down.
In May 2003, the company signed a contract with CBC, and produced New Brunswick's first animated television series, and is the largest independant studio on the east coast.
I felt that the FatKat blog is very colorful, and appealing to the eye. Also, it has a lot of videos that their fans can watch, and that other people can watch at any time to show what they are about.
Questions To Ask Robbie Anderson:
1. How did you feel when your company was renamed?
2. Why did you relocate your company to the Miramichi?
3. What is your favorite animated series, and why?

Reflection for How To Video

I watched a "How To" video on how to apply three shades of eye shadow, I really liked how the girl in the video applied the eye shadow while the voice in the background explained how to apply it.
This video would be helpful to the viewer because it gave tips on what type of brushes to use, and gave information on how to apply it for different eyes.
If i were to do anything differently, I would have gotten the person speaking in the background to talk slower so the viewers could understand more clearly on how to apply the eye shadow.
Many of the videos have an introduction, a visual representation, and mostly all of them have voice overs.

How To Free Your Hunger In Just 10 Minutes!

Have you ever been so hungry, but were too impatient to cook something for 20 minutes? If so, try this simple recipe. Your hunger will be gone in just 10 minutes!!

Materials and Supplies(for one western)
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 a piece of chopped ham
* 1/4 cup of milk
* A dash of salt and/or pepper
* 2 pieces of toasted bread
* 1/2 a slice of cheese
* Butter/Butter knife
* Table Spoon
* Any condoments you wish to put on the bread
* Any other ingredients you wish to put in
* Small mixing bowl
* Fork
* Spatula
* Frying Pan

Step 1: Melt Butter: Turn the dial on the stove to medium, and with a table spoon, scoop butter, and put it on the center of the pan. This causes the eggs to not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Step 2: Mix: In a small mixing bowl, mix eggs, ham, milk, salt and/or pepper, and any other vegetables or ingredients you would like to add. Be sure to use a fork to mix the ingredients, so you don't bruise the eggs; mix until it is a pale yellow.
Step 3: Pour: Slowly pour the mixed ingredients into the pan. Keep the dial on medium.
Step 4: Make Toast: You should begin making your toast when the western is half way cooked, so your toast won't be cold when you place the eggs on.
Step 5: Flip: Begin flipping your western when the bottom of it is cooked. Using a spatula, lift each side into the middle of the pan so they meet. then carefully flip over the western so the other side can cook.
Step 6: Melt Cheese: When your western is all cooked, turn the dial to low, so you won't over-cook it. then place the piece of cheese on top of the western, but be careful t not touch the pan. It will be hot!
Step 7: Place western On Toast: By the time your chesse is melted, your toast should be ready. If so, butter your toast, or place and other condoments you wish to put on it. Then, put the western in the toast.

Now you're ready to eat! Be sure to turn the stove top off!!!!!
Enjoy!:)

Bonus 1 of 2: My Dream Home

If I were to design my perfect home, it would be located in the beautiful sunny tropics of Hawaii; right next to a gorgeous beach. My home would be a two-storey home, with light brown siding, cathedral ceilings, a humungous double door, and large picture windows. I would also have a four door garage.
The interior of my house would be absoluetly amazing. I would have 3 bathrooms upstairs, that would have a bedroom connected to three of them, and 2 bathrooms downstairs. Every bathroom would have a shower, a jacuzzi bath tub, and a tv located on the wall so i could relax and watch my favorite tv shows at the same time.
The master bedroom would be beautiful, I would have a king-sized bed, a plazma tv hanging on the wall, and a balcony overlooking the pool.
My kitchen would have detailed cherry cupborads, ceramic tile through out it, and would be filled with the aroma of home cooking and vanilla. My house would also include a large dining room for when my parents or other people come over for dinner, as well as a gigantic tv room with a 72" plazma tv and leather couches surrounding the walls.
The exterior of my house would have an in-ground swimming pool with a deck all aroudn it, a hot tub, and a large garden surrounding the house.

Bonus 2 of 2: There, Their, and They're

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. There was Curly. He was the oldest. There was Wurly. He was the smartest. And then there was Flo. She was the favorite pig. Their mother loved Flo the best. Curly, Wurly and Flo lived with their mother in a high-rise apartment building in New York City. Their apartment was on the 75th floor. The pigs didn’t mind this because there was an elevator that opened right in front of their apartment door. It was on the days that their elevator wasn’t working, that the pigs suffered. Their little hoofs would be aching by the time they reached their apartment. Their mother would have to have little hoof baths waiting for her three little pigs when they finally reached the top. Of course, Flo always got the warmest hoof bath because she was their mother’s favorite. One day, Mama Pig sent the three pigs to the store to buy apples for their dinner. She gave them a list of items that she needed. She also gave them their allowance, and she told them that they could buy their favorite candy which they would eat for their dessert. The three pigs put on their jackets (it was winter). They put on their gloves and scarves. Next, it was time to put on their boots. Curly slipped on his bright red leather boots over his red and yellow polka dot socks. Wurly, being the most intelligent, slipped on his waterproof, fully lined boots over his white socks. Curly and Wurly were ready and waiting for their sister. She could not find her boots. "Curly and Wurly," she said, "have you seen my boots?" Curly and Wurly looked at each other and then they looked at their sister. "I’ll tell you where they are," said Wurly, "if you’ll give us your allowance to hold while you goand get them." "Okay," agreed Flo as she handed the boys her allowance. "There are your boots, over there," said Curly. "Where?" asked Flo suspiciously. "Over there!" squealed the boys as they pointed to the window in their living room. "They're over there behind that curtain." Flo slowly walked toward the window. The boys followed closely behind their sister. Just as she reached the window, Curly opened the window and Wurly pushed Flo through. Curly and Wurly squealed with delight as their sister fell 75 floors. Curly and Wurly were thrilled that their plan worked. They were rid of Flo and they had her money! Luckily for Flo, she landed on a huge snow pile and was not hurt. Her brothers were not so fortunate. Mama Pig heard the commotion, ran into the living room and, when she realized what they had done, sent the boys to live with their Uncle Oscar Mayer. Uncle Oscar always knew what to do with bad little pigs. The boys protested. They were just doing Flo a favor by helping her find her boots; it wasn’t their fault that she was clumsy. But Mama would not listen to their excuses and off they went to Uncle Oscar’s. Flo and Mama Pig still live on the 75th floor of the apartment building in New York City, and they're very happy there. Now Flo gets her brothers’ allowance since they're not there.
