"Here Comes Goobye":Persuassive Essay

During the beginning of "One Tree Hill", Brooke took in an abandoned teenager; Sam. Sam's mother gave her up when she was only a baby, and was transferred to a different foster family; until Brooke found her. Recently, Sam has decided that she wants to live with her biological mother, and get to know her. So why do I think she should have stayed with Brooke?
In my opinion, if a mother gave their child up, they never really wanted them in the first place. Sam's mother caused her 15 years of pain and heartache. If I were Sam, I would not want to live with a woman who hurt me like that.
Brooke and Sam both had mothers who were never around and because they are so close in age, they can relate more than Sam and her mother can. Sam and Brooke love each other, and because they have similar memories to share, it would be easier to live together than Sam living with her mother.
Sam had to spend most of her life switching homes and trying to deal with families she didn't like. She was happy and comfortable when she moved in with Brooke. Now, she has to start all over again; settling into a new home, which is something she had to do her whole life.
Some people may say that it's a good thing that Sam left because now Brooke can be with Julian. The truth is, Brooke stayed home because she didn't want to put Sam through anymore pain than she has already witnessed. She put aside her own feelings and took Sam's into consideration.
Sam's mother never wanted her, but Brooke did. She took good care of her and gave her a loving and permanent home. I think that it is an up-roar that Sam left and she should come back immediately!
